<p>Bugbee Senior Center is operated by the White River Council on Aging. We are a nonprofit senior center with a mission to enable older adults to be active, connected, and independent members of the community. We offer a range of activities, services and programs. The senior nutrition program includes community lunches Monday to Friday at noon. Meals on Wheels deliveries are also provided for eligible clients. Activities range from educational classes, workshops, fitness classes, wellness programs, recreation, field trips, and social events. Social services include loans of durable medical equipment, assistance with transportation coordination, and referrals. <a href="http://www.bugbeecenter.org">Learn more at our website.</a></p><p>GETTING TO BUGBEE:</p><p>On-site parking is available, as well as a park & ride across the street, and public parking downtown. The Center is served by a stop on Advance Transit's Orange Route, with nearby stops on Yellow and Green just a short walk away. The Center is served by Hartford's sidewalk network, connecting downtown to the top of Sykes Mountain. Bike lanes along Route 4 and 5 also serve Bugbee, and there is a bike rack on site.</p><p>Paratransit services are available to Bugbee through Advance Transit. Tri-Valley Transit offers Dial-A-Ride service for trips to Bugbee depending on volunteer availability.
