Neighbors can pick up groceries every two weeks. Last order taken 15 minutes before closing. Closed major holidays including New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day; possible extra closures around Christmas.
For eligible Jackson County residents. Partial financial assistance for overdue essential bills: rent, utilities, heating, prescription co-pays. Available once a year.
About This Pantry
United Christian Ministries was established in 1989 by Jackson County churches to provide residents with food and other assistance. UCM is mainly a client-choice food pantry; neighbors can pick up groceries every two weeks. The pantry is well-stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, rice, pasta, frozen meats, bakery items, and more. UCM also provides partial financial assistance for essential bills and referrals. Its objective is to address food insecurity in Jackson County.
