About This Pantry

Shepherd’s Heart has been a joint partnership between area churches and community volunteers dedicated to serving the Taylor community since 1993. The Pantry has been a ministry of the community to the community for more than 45 years through the Taylor Area Ministerial Alliance (TAMA). By joining forces all those years ago, we increased frequency and pounds of food distributed from once a month (in 1993) to 3 times a week. Twenty churches and/or organizations participate providing spiritual oversight, volunteers and fundraisers/food drives. A partner agency of the Central Texas Food Bank.
