About This Pantry
<p>River Valley Food 4 Kids provides year-round free food assistance to kids and families throughout the Arkansas River Valley. Our programs help make sure kids have access to nutritious food when other sources may not be available.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Pantry Program</span></strong><br>Our Pantry Program provides food for kids ages 2–18 during the school year, including an individual snack bag for each registered kid, a household food box with produce, bread, grains, cereal, protein, and other nutritious foods, and a visit to our choice pantry. Appointments are required, and families may visit every two weeks.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Backpack Program</strong></span><br>Our Backpack Program provides weekend snack bags to participating students to help ensure they have food to eat when they are away from school and school meals are not available. Ask your child's counselor how to register.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Summer Food 4 Kids</span></strong><br>Our Summer Food 4 Kids program provides food to help bridge the gap when kids are out of school and school cafeterias are closed. Our program is separate from any school district summer feeding program, and families can register for both.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Holiday Helper</span></strong><br>Holiday Helper provides food to families with kids during the holiday season, helping ensure kids have nutritious food when school is out. Families register in advance to "shop" our warehouse during this fun, festive event!</p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Who Qualifies?</span></strong><p>Our programs serve kids ages <strong>2–18</strong> who need food assistance. </p><p>An 18-year-old must be enrolled in high school or an equivalent program. </p><p>A 2-year-old cannot be the oldest kid in the household. </p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Guidelines</span></strong><p><strong>Households must register for each program every year.</strong></p><p>A parent or guardian must provide a photo ID and identification for each registered child.</p><p>Food received through RVF4K may not be sold or exchanged for money or other nonperishable items.</p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Service Area</strong></span><p>River Valley Food 4 Kids serves families in <strong>Pope, Yell, Johnson, Logan, Conway, and Perry counties</strong>. All of our programs are free and made possible through the support of our local community.</p>
