Putnam County Bread of Life

The Bread of Life provides a daily meal to those who are homeless and/or food insecure. We are open Monday through Friday for serving 11:30.  We are happy to make referrals to other resources throughout the county for clothing, temporary work, additional food resources.  Our mission is to serve faith, family and food in a welcoming and dignified setting.  Additionally, we welcome providers, agencies, vendors who offer services to our folks coming for meals, usually on Fridays.  These services include, Goodwill, Celebrate Recovery,  UF Health Street, United Health, Putnam County Health Department, HCA Putnam Community Medical Center, Putnam County Medical Mission, Lee Conlee House, Barbering services, Primerica and more. Basic toiletry items are also provided on Fridays.  The Bread of Life also partners with First Presbyterian Church to offer Showering and Laundry on Thursdays from 1-5 p.m.  Cold Weather sheltering is also available through a partnership with First Presbyterian Church and Westminster Hall at 126 S. 2nd Street, Palatka.
