<p>“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me,.....I was in prison and you came to visit me." (Matthew 25: 35-36)</p><p>Redemption Church is a Mission Church within the Oklahoma United Methodist Conference. While the Redemption Missions target group are inmates currently incarcerated with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, we happily share our resources with our community and are open to the public during our operating hours.</p><p><strong>Redemption offers transportation assistance in the form of Embark Bus Passes provided by the Embark Mobility Grant. Quantities are limited in availability and first come, first serve.</strong></p><p><strong>Redemption operates a clothing closet that is open to the public and free of charge. Open Thursdays 5:15-6:15pm Sunday 12:15-1:15pm. Clothing offered is for men and women- no children's clothes. There are item limits and restrictions, and you may not get clothing for people not with you. Please follow all rules posted in clothing closet area.</strong></p><p><strong>Redemption serves a hot lunch following worship on Sunday around 12:20pm. Church attendance is not required to eat with us.</strong></p><p><strong>Redemption serves a hot meal on Thursdays prior to worship around 5:30pm. Church attendance is not required to eat with us.</strong></p><p><strong>Redemption offers an open AA meeting on the first Thursday of the month following worship at 7:30pm. All are welcome.</strong></p><p><strong>Redemption offers classes specifically for our Department of Correction guests on all other Thursdays for the month. These are closed classes and not open to the public.</strong></p><p><strong>Redemption offers dog food, one bag per person, when available.</strong></p><p><strong>We <span style="text-decoration: underline">DO NOT</span> operate a food bank or provide financial assistance for utility bills, rent or other expenses.</strong></p>
