About This Pantry

Catholic Charities has been providing social services in the Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe tri-county area since 1931.

The mission statement that guides our agency’s work and services is: To honor God by Enhancing human life and dignity, supporting individuals and families, building communities and working for justice.

Food and nutrition have been an essential component of our coordinated approach to addressing access to health and wellness for the marginalized within our local communities. Recognizing that local families continue to be challenged by hunger, Catholic Charities has continually included hunger prevention as part of the core services being provided.

This work continues with the services provided at the Matthew 25 Food Pantry. The pantry offers emergency food assistance to households in times of need.
