Marcus Whitman's Pop-Up Food Distribution, in partnership with Foodlink, was launched in January 2020 as a grab-and-go initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a rapid response quickly evolved into a full-scale food distribution program by the spring of 2020. On average, we serve 200 households, 200 senior citizens, 415 adults, and 375 children, totaling about 1,000 individuals at each distribution. The program remains a vital resource for families and individuals across rural communities in Ontario and Yates Counties.
