Good to Know
<p>Please use the <strong>double doors on Third Street to enter</strong> the food pantry, which is on the lower level. It is accessible by stairs or an elevator located to the left inside the door. </p><p><strong>Parking is behind the building or along Third Street</strong>. If you park along Third Street, please observe the parking signage. If you park in the area between North Grand and the sidewalk coming from the double doors, you may get a $50 parking ticket.</p><p><strong>If mobility issues prevent you from coming in, please call us at 217-523-2269 when you arrive.</strong> We can send someone out to find out what you would like from the pantry, fulfill the order, and deliver it to your vehicle. Please only use this service if you can't make it into the building. We want our volunteers to be able to help everyone in a timely fashion. <br> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

About This Pantry
<p>Kumler Outreach Ministries strives to help the at-risk population of the greater Springfield area overcome the physical, social, economic and spiritual obstacles they face. We do this through a food pantry, prescription assistance program, community garden and twice monthly community meal (first and fourth Tuesdays at Kumler United Methodist Church, 600 N. 5th St., Springfield). We also provide layettes with items for newborn babies, and have free coats, hats, scarves, gloves/mittens during the winter months. Personal hygiene items, such as soap and shampoo, are available when they have been donated.<br></p><p> </p>
