Good to Know
Each family is interviewed to determine eligibility and need. Qualifying families receive food to supplement their weekly food supply. Bring to EACH visit: Social Security card or birth certificate for each household member; proof of address (driver's license, lease/rent agreement, utility bill); proof of income (check stubs; Employment Certification if no income; award letters for Social Security, SSI, pension, SNAP, HUD, child support). Serves qualifying families in Southern Brazoria County; eligibility based on government guidelines.

About This Pantry
The Food Basket was founded in 2002 to meet the growing demand for supplemental food among families in Southern Brazoria County. Our mission is to put God’s Word / - “Feed My Sheep” - into action, and to bolster those with food insecurity.
