Santa Cruz County residents age 55+ are eligible to sign up/renew for a weekly grocery bag with fresh produce and staples. Bags are distributed at various county locations 48 weeks a year; home delivery only for disabled seniors age 50+ (indicate on form).
Arrive at 10:45 a.m. to sign up for the raffle. Everyone receives one bag per person per day; please bring your own bag.
Community lunch serving 200–300 seniors and neighbors daily; meals are made from donated grocery, deli, and farm food, with fresh salads, sandwiches, and a rotating hot entrée. Stop by the Chanticleer location to connect with other seniors.
About This Pantry
For over 50 years, the Grey Bears Healthy Food Program has worked to sustainably nourish Santa Cruz County seniors: body, mind, and soul. It partners with 25+ food producers—farms, grocery stores, delis, and community members—to redirect food destined for landfill to seniors’ plates and pantries.
