Services Offered
The Dining Car Soup is open 9a-1p Monday through Friday and 9a-10a on Saturday. Breakfast is served at 9a and lunch is served at 11a M-F. Sack lunches are handed out on Saturday from 9a-10a. We also offer showers and laundry services on a first come-first serve basis - sign up is necessary. Other services available - computers to use and case manager onsite.
Pantry hours are 1p-4p Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We are also open the 2nd & 4th Saturdays from 9a-12p but will NOT be open the Fridays before those Saturdays. It is best to be here by 2:00 in order to ensure you get in to shop. We have to close the doors to incoming shoppers whenever we have all the people we can serve and be done by 4:00pm.
About This Pantry
At Grand Central Station our vision is a hopeful and nourished community in body, soul, and spirit. Our mission is to provide food, tools for learning, advocacy, and life solutions, for our neighbors in need, in an environment of safety. We have a soup kitchen, a food pantry, and a backpack program.
