Good to Know
Please consider volunteering, even if just for an hour – we could use your help. We begin setting up every Thursday at 7:00 am and distribution ends at 12:00 pm. Clean up follows that. No need to sign up, just show up Thursday morning at the corner of Lang St. and Hardie.

About This Pantry
At Grace Episcopal Church in Alvin, our food ministry is about more than groceries — it’s about dignity, relationship, and showing up when people are hurting. What we’re doing is simple, but it’s powerful: we meet real needs with real compassion — and we remind people they are not alone. Partnering with the Houston Food Bank • Serving Alvin and surrounding communities. Over the last four years, partnering with the Houston Food Bank, we’ve shared more than three million pounds of food with families across our community — neighbors who are working, seniors who are homebound, parents choosing between rent and groceries, and children who just need enough to eat. Homebound deliveries: For neighbors who can’t get out, a knock at the door means more than groceries — it means they’re remembered and not alone. Friday mornings: hospitality for neighbors experiencing homelessness. For two years, every Friday morning we’ve been welcoming our neighbors experiencing homelessness with hot breakfast, clean clothes, and warm showers — offering not just help, but hope and respect.
