Good to Know
Please bring your own shopping bags or boxes. There are no requirements to get food other than a verbal confirmation that the food is needed and will not be sold, and that any posted item limits will be followed. We do not share your personal information with anyone. Visitors may shop every 2 weeks for groceries if needed.

Busiest right at noon until around 1:15pm; arrive after the rush to reduce wait. We restock during shopping hours. We cannot meet the entire grocery need for any household, but hope to make grocery costs more manageable.
About This Pantry
Good Sam’s is a community-led food pantry and emerging community food center in Cortez, Colorado that offers free grocery items & fresh produce, workshops, events and volunteer opportunities. We prioritize variety, choice and culturally relevant food in a friendly, market-style environment.
