<p><strong>Free Community Market: Free Healthy for those with Food Needs:</strong> Wednesday Noon to 2:00 PM<strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Free Community Meal: Delicious freshly prepared meal. Services Offered
<p>Please do not enter the church parking lot until after 10:00 AM. </p><p>Students are being dropped off for a school on campus and food delivery is taking place. </p><p>At the top of the driveway please bear to the right and join in the car line. A volunteer will come to your car to collect intake information. Please alert this volunteer about any special assistance you may need. We will assist you in shopping and loading groceries as needed. Wheelchairs are available.</p><p>The car line will lead you to a lower parking lot where you will be able to park your car, choose a shopping cart, and enter the market. After loading groceries into your car you will exit down the driveway you entered on. Please never enter the lower parking lot without being directed by volunteers managing traffic.</p><p>You may pick up groceries for other family members or neighbors. You will need a note from them with their name and current address.</p><p><span> </span></p>
<p>The Free Community Meal is cancelled for September (17) 2026.</p><p>The October Meal date has been changed to the 4th Thursday of the month October (22) 2026.</p>
About This Pantry
<p>Montmorenci United Methodist Church, (established 1857) is a welcoming congregation with deep roots in the Hominy Valley, NC (Candler) and an abiding love for our neighbors.</p><p>Our continuing Community Outreach programs include:</p><p>*Congregations for Children, known as C4C (beginning 2008)</p><p>*The Free Community Meal, a free, nutritious meal and fellowship for Everyone (beginning 2012)</p><p>*The Free Community Market, free produce, bread, meat, and groceries for all with food needs (beginning 2013)</p><p>We welcome all those in need and all those who want to join us in service.</p><p> </p><p></p>
