Community Enhancement Collaboration (CEC) is a grassroots nonprofit organization based in Hollywood, Florida. Founded in 2004 by longtime community activist Nadine McCrea, CEC has been serving the community since 1982, even before the organization was formally named. CEC is dedicated to fighting food insecurity and providing vital social services to individuals and families in need. The organization operates a robust food pantry and resource center that serves thousands of residents each year. CEC partners with local businesses, government agencies, foundations, and volunteers to distribute food, hygiene items, pet supplies, and essential resources to underserved communities. With a deep commitment to uplifting the lives of others, CEC also provides referral services, emergency assistance, youth support programs, and community outreach events. Signature annual events include the Back to School Fun Day, Thanksgiving Luncheon, Holiday Basket Giveaway, and Winter Wonderland Toy Distribution. CEC's mission is rooted in compassion, equity, and action.
