<a href="http://cecwashpark.org">CEC stands for Community Enhancement Collaboration, Inc. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community-based organization in Hollywood, Florida, serving Washington Park and surrounding Broward County communities. CEC’s roots date back to 1982, and the organization was officially incorporated under its current name in 2004. CEC’s mission centers on reducing food insecurity, connecting people with essential social services, and strengthening families and communities. Its programs include a Client Choice Food Pantry, Senior Feeding Program, mobile and drive-thru food distributions, home food deliveries, pet food assistance, and other community support services. CEC serves seniors, children, families, veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and other neighbors in need. The City of Hollywood has described CEC as a valuable community partner and a stabilizing force involved in neighborhood outreach, community empowerment, and neighborhood transformation.
