About This Pantry
We are an all volunteer organization with a board of directors and clergy advisors who oversee our program and volunteers who procure, stock, screen clients, and issue food. The Christian Love Pantry began in 1980 as a cooperative effort of local churches in St. Clair County to meet the ongoing need for emergency food for the citizens of St. Clair County. It was incorporated as a non-profit in 1991 and continues as a United Way Partner Agency. Our mission is to provide the most nutritious balance of food possible for St. Clair County residents in need of emergency assistance.
