About This Pantry
<p>The Brandywine Food Pantry primarily serves residents of the Brandywine Heights Area School District. However, as part of Helping Harvest, we are open to any residents of Berks County. </p><p>We provide a shopping-like experience for patrons BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. </p><p>We are open the First, Second and Third Tuesday of each month — 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:00 to 6:00 pm. But again, you must make an appointment by calling us at 484-861-7117 (leave a message if there is no answer).</p><p>We are located at St. Peter's UCC in Topton, PA at 122 West Franklin Street. Access to the pantry is at the rear of the church building. There is a parking lot to the left of the church. </p><p>We provide refrigerated, frozen, and fresh foods as well as non-perishable foods and, as they are available, paper products and personal care items.</p><p> </p><p>We have a new Community Free Food Table - this has limited items, often near expiration, from Giant, Dollar General, and our pantry overstock. You do not need to register or have an appointment to select food from this table.</p><p>The Community Free Food Table is available every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. If you do not have an appointment to "shop" the pantry and are just visiting for the Community Free Food Table, you will not be allowed to enter the building before 10am.</p>
