<p>This market is located in the parking lot of the old BiLo market in Black Mountain. It is a drive through market, which means participants stay in their vehicles as they drive through various stations. The main pick up is a food box loaded with a variety of fruits and vegetables, sometimes topped with lettuce, bread and/or eggs. Other bonus stations can include bananas and some local food options. There is also a station for kids and pets.</p><p><br></p>

Our Produce to the People™ fresh food community markets are open to everyone. We offer farm fresh food from local farm partners, as well as fresh produce sourced from retailers and MANNA Foodbank. You will find local food tents set up farmers market style, as well as other fresh food market tents, and a "bonus" tent with special items. We share diapers, pet food, covid tests and other necessities as well. You can enjoy a cooking demo, kids activities, and lively music at our markets, and meet some new friends. Often, community partner organizations will be present, offering resources like health and wellness screening, vaccines, resources for seniors, legal resources and more! We engage in trauma informed practices and share food and community in the spirit of celebration and mutual respect. Come join the love!
